High School Track and Field Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated High School Track and Field Coach to inspire student-athletes and foster their athletic development. As a coach, you will be responsible for designing training programs, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for all participants. Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and conduct daily practices for track & field events (sprints, distance, jumps, throws, etc.)Develop training programs that promote skill development, conditioning, and injury preventionProvide instruction, feedback, and mentorship to student-athletes of varying ability levelsPromote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect consistent with Catholic valuesSupervise student-athletes during practices, meets, and team eventsCoordinate meet schedules, transportation, and equipment needs with the Athletic DepartmentMaintain communication with athletes, parents, and school administrationEnsure compliance with school, league, and state athletic association policiesSupport the academic success and personal development of all athletesQualifications

Previous coaching or competitive experience in track & field (preferred)Knowledge of multiple track & field disciplinesStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsCommitment to the mission and values of Catholic educationAbility to serve as a positive role model for student-athletesRequired clearances (background checks, child abuse clearances, etc.)CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Preferred Attributes

Experience working with high school studentsAbility to coach multiple events or coordinate event groupsWillingness to collaborate with assistant coaches and athletic staffPay: $2,000.00 – $3,000.00 per year
