Coach the Future of Women’s Flag Football in Phoenix
The Gateway Pioneer Athletic Conference (GPAC) is an official conference of the Independent Junior College Athletic Association (IJCAA), featuring 14 Phoenix-based programs split into two divisions of seven.
Women’s Flag Football launches as the conference’s first fully fielded sport, with all 14 teams competing—280 total athletes (20 per roster)—across a 25-game regular season, followed by playoffs and a championship.
This is a paid coaching position that includes salary, meals, gym membership, and optional housing for coaches relocating to Phoenix.
Coaches will recruit, coach, and run their own Junior College Women’s Flag Football program, focusing on elite skill development, fundamentals, and player advancement—helping athletes earn scholarship opportunities at 4-year colleges and universities.
GPAC is a cost-effective, in-house league designed to deliver high-level competition while minimizing travel, maximizing reps, and prioritizing player development. All member programs operate under shared policies that emphasize leadership, structure, and the total development of the student-athlete.
Women’s flag football is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S.—and this conference sits at the center of that movement.
