Role Description

The Sports Director will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of sports and recreation programs, ensuring high-quality and engaging experiences for participants. Responsibilities include coaching youth athletes, leading sports and physical education instruction, organizing recreational activities, and managing program logistics. The Sports Director will also collaborate with staff, communicate with parents, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Westwood, NJ.

Qualifications

Experience in Sports, Coaching, and Sports ManagementStrong Communication skills for interacting with staff, parents, and participantsProficiency in Physical Education techniques and practicesDemonstrated leadership and organizational abilities to manage programs and teamsPassion for youth development and fostering a positive, inclusive environmentAbility to work on-site in Westwood, NJBachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field preferredCPR and First Aid certification is a plus
