Surline Middle School

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Possession of high school diploma or G.E.D.

2. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with students, staff, parents

3. Ability to maintain confidentiality

4. Ability to effectively establish and maintain discipline

5. Ability to implement a strength and conditioning program

6. Willingness to supervise weight training in and out of season

7. Ability to perform under stressful conditions

8. Personal flexibility in fostering a team-oriented culture and environment

9. Possession of organizational skills

10. Prior coaching experience preferred

11. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, AED and First Aid Training

EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026-27 School Year

SALARY: Per Supplementary Services Pay Schedule, 3%

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director
