Former college lacrosse player turned coach. I have spent the last decade perfecting how to assist the development of players of all ages and skill levels.
Education
Attended Wingate University for one year. The next five years I chose to work to put my wife through school and then went back to school and graduated with a 3.4 GPA.
Experience
-Develop daily lesson plans and provide instruction to prepare students for the Virginia Department of Education’s Standards of Learning Test
-Modify lesson plans for students with disabilities and individualized special education plans
-Design and oversee quizzes and tests to evaluate students’ progress
-Head JV lacrosse Coach/ Assistant Varsity Coach
-Responsible for the design and instruction of all defensive tactics during practice and game situations
-Develop fitness programs for team practices and group camps
• Designed, tested and applied personalized workout programs to a wide range of individuals- pro athletes to beginners
• Instructed aerobic/strength training sessions for 8 week NFL combine performance camps
• Performed proper fitness instruction in 1v1, 1v3 and class settings
Coached multiple of teams 20-30 young men between the ages of 11 and 15 for a lacrosse travel league
Developed team concepts and taught all aspects of the sport to include discipline, fitness, and teamwork
Responsible for all logistical aspects for the team to include transportation to and from tournaments, billeting at distant locations for entire team and chaperons, financial management for team activities and expenses, and equipment maintenance
-Responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing defensive strategies and game plans
-Developed practice plans, cardio and strength training programs
-Actively involved in all logistical and financial activities including scheduling games, arranging buses, coordinating hotel rooms, and maintaining team finances
