Profile Summary

To whom it may concern, I was born and lived in Plainview all my life. My 11 years in the Plainview district have been great and educational. Ever since I decided to become a teacher and coach, my goal has been to impact the lives of all students. I made the decision to further my education because I know I can further help the district in an leadership setting. As a leader, I can help shape young minds while also making it possible for coaches to do their jobs. I am a strong candidate for this position because of my understanding of the athletic system and my passion for the student achievement in Kress. I had the pleasure of completing my Principal practicum with Josie Walker at Coronado Middle school. During those months, I gained insight into the world of administration and the needs of the school system. In my practicum of school administration, I have been able to help the assistant principal and principal with many of their duties. During my 11 years of teaching, I have always worked toward to give my students a safe place to learn. Involvement of families and the community will be my goal to strengthen this district. As an educational leader, I plan to create that atmosphere for all students at the school by providing teachers and coaches with the necessary tools. I understand the importance of a solid education, which is part of what makes me a strong candidate. I know you are busy, so thank you for taking the time to review my resume.
