Description
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning, strategy, organizing and execution of preseason, season, off season practices.
- Help monitor conditioning programs.
- Provide us with input as to the evaluation of the athlete's performance and progress.
- Ensure the best performance of athletes during games. Aid in the strategic planning for individual player development.
- Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting.
- Develop relationships with multiple partners including students, parents, faculty, department and college staff, alumni, fans, and community members.
- Help us recruit prospective student athletes includes phone calls, texts, emails, off-campus evaluations. Understand what SNHU has to offer and being able to sell the university and program to prospective student-athletes.
- Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions.
- Manage social media accounts while understanding on how to market the program.
- Provide input and help plan and administer the budget for the men's soccer program which includes assessing needs for equipment, team travel, and recruiting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of playing or coaching experience at the collegiate, club circuit, State OPD, or high school level in soccer.
- Hold a valid driver's license and be eligible to be insured by the university's auto insurance carrier to drive on campus when needed.
