Description
The Associate AD, Facilities, Capital Projects, and Event Management reports to the Deputy Athletic Director and is responsible for all matters pertaining to new construction, facility renovations, event management, facility maintenance and athletic field maintenance, the facilities operations budget, and is the department’s primary liaison with Facilities, Engineering and Planning as it relates to custodial, deferred maintenance allocations, capital project (new and renovations), oversight, and adherence to University policy in the aforementioned areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 or more years of related experience.
- Must possess (or have the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire) and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license with no more than three moving violations and/or at fault accidents within the past 36 months, and no convictions or deferred dispositions for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI) within the past five years.
Essential Functions:
- Manages and oversees the building maintenance.
- Receives, processes, coordinates, tracks, and reviews the completion of service and maintenance requests.
- Ensures work is performed in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
- Supervises the work of assigned employees and conducts performance reviews.
- Supervises events if needed.
- Monitors assigned budget and invoices.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
