Description
The primary responsibilities include providing leadership and direction for the basketball program and ensuring compliance with college and conference regulations. The individual will be responsible for directing all facets of the program including, but not limited to, recruiting, scheduling, budgeting, public relations and instructing, evaluating, and monitoring student-athletes academics.
Minimum Qualifications:

Basketball coaching or playing experience at the college level.

Ability to supervise sports activities for a diverse population.

Effective organizational skills sufficient to run the basketball program.

Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to present information to the general public, parents, students, and the college community.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree.

Knowledge of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) policies and regulations.

Prior experience recruiting college student-athletes.
