Description
The Head Men’s Soccer Coach/Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for administering all aspects of the varsity men’s soccer program and performing assigned administrative duties within the Athletics & Recreation Department.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the preparation, execution, and follow-up of all organized activities of the varsity men’s soccer program, including, but not limited to: practices, competition, team travel, and community service.
- Recruit qualified student-athletes through NCAA-permissible methods.
- Promote student-athlete retention and satisfactory progress through NCAA-permissible academic and athletic support.
- Efficiently manage administrative duties (scheduling, budget control, fundraising, etc.).
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in collegiate soccer, intercollegiate athletics, and administration.
- Thorough understanding of NCAA governing rules.
- American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
