Description
The Head Coach, Softball is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the university's softball program, including player development, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations while fostering student-athlete success both academically and athletically.
Essential Job Duties:
- Plan and execute practice sessions and game strategies for student-athlete development.
- Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes.
- Complete and maintain required National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) documentation and programming.
- Monitor and support student-athlete academic performance and progress.
- Manage administrative duties related to the softball program.
- Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with Title IX and NCAA regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience.
- Professional degree in Education preferred.
- 2 years of managerial experience preferred.
