Description
The High School Health and Physical Education Teacher is responsible for delivering comprehensive health and physical education instruction to high school students, fostering physical fitness, wellness, and healthy lifestyle habits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Education, Physical Education, or a related field.

GENERAL DUTIES:
- Develop and implement health and physical education lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach students about various health topics, including nutrition, mental health, substance abuse prevention, etc.
- Instruct students in a variety of physical activities and sports to promote cardiovascular fitness, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
- Provide opportunities for students to participate in fitness assessments, goal-setting, and personalized fitness plans.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into health and physical education instruction to enhance student engagement and learning.
- Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including written assignments, projects, quizzes, and fitness tests.
- Provide feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement in health and physical fitness.
