Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons for students in grades K–8.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and effort.
- Teach fundamental motor skills, sports, fitness, and health concepts.
- Organize and supervise intramural activities, field days, and other school-wide physical events.
- Maintain a safe and organized gym space and manage equipment.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate wellness and health initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education (K–8).
- Experience working with children in an educational or athletic setting.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for promoting health and fitness in a school community.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
