PE Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons for students in grades K–8.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and effort.
• Teach fundamental motor skills, sports, fitness, and health concepts.
• Organize and supervise intramural activities, field days, and other school-wide physical events.
• Maintain a safe and organized gym space and manage equipment.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate wellness and health initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education (K–8).
• Experience working with children in an educational or athletic setting.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for promoting health and fitness in a school community.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
