Physical Therapist – Lead, Outpatient Clinic

Oversees daily operations and clinical practice of therapy programs, including direct patient care, clinical quality, regulatory, staff and student education. Assists supervisor with oversight and management of therapy services.

Responsibilities:

• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
• Provides assessment, consultations and/or treatment services based on clinical practice guidelines and department policies.
• Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies. Develops clinical and student education programs and continuously monitors for effectiveness and outcomes.
• Provides / assists with determining staffing levels for therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree/Physical Therapy.
• Experience: None required.
• Supervisor Experience: None required.
• Licenses & Certification: Physical Therapist License.
